Dog Walking In Black and White
^Double stripe Black and white top / Forever21 (loving this and this also)

This Double black striped tee is so comfy and I love the sporty feel, making for a great 'on trend' active attire. It's a great top, should you start the day off thinking it was a bit cold...but then later finding the day getting warmer as the day goes on. The black stripes are actually mesh, so it's totally perfect for letting a bit of breeze through.
Anyways, I can't wait to take this little one out, he is itching for it I know, always wriggling around in my arms when I take him to the local shops! Until then, he currently bounds around our apartment playing fetch, bolts around on the rooftop and also plays with his other furry friends whenever he gets a chance.
If anyone has any tips on keeping white leather clean, that would be much appreciated, because I'm pretty sure the whiteness of these espadrilles isn't going to last! :)

Bailey Buster Lee
This little furry monster has been the reason why our lives have been filled with extra love. Meet our little M.L.P addition; Bailey Buster Lee (aka BB Lee).
These photos were taken on the day I picked him up from the airport. He is a little Cavoodle (2nd generation) and turned 2 months today! Although I come home to find a mini trail of soft toy destruction, as if a cyclone has ripped through our balcony, he is a furball full of love. He's still getting used to living away from his siblings so the last few nights sleep have been pretty interrupted to say the least, but when you see his liddle face, and how playful he is, you totally forget how exhausted you are and just want to rustle him up and cuddle him to death. Although he has had a few accidents inside our apartment, he has surprisingly taken to toilet training a bit easier (though time consuming still), than my family pet Beagle.
He's met a few of our friends already and loves them to bits, tail wagging on hyper speed and licking faces galore. We sometimes can't tell whether he's asleep at night, as his button eyes are pretty dark and camouflaged. And during the day, if we're at home, he flops around konking out on rugs or in your arms (have you seen this instavideo I posted up? hehe). He also loves getting groomed, even falling asleep whilst being brushed, he has snacked on a couple of our dead herb plants and his puppy belly is too cute for words! He is really like a walking teddy bear sometimes!
I can't wait to take him out for walks in parks and fields when he's allowed to go out, and I'm hoping to get a basket for my bike so he can come riding with us. But for now, I'll post up home photos here and there, so you all can see him grow up! To see more photos on the fly,and probably some more video action, be sure to follow my Instagram.
I know I know...those cables being there is lethal... but don't worry, we are puppy-proofing!

Citrus Jellyshot Aperitifs
I'm not too impartial to a jelly shot or two... or just a shot of anything when party time comes around. And when I came across Lorraine Pascale's idea to serve jelly shots in fruit casings, I had to try it myself!
Limincello jellyshot wedges (alcoholic)
- 3x Lemons,halved and flesh all hulled out. Placed skin side down in a cupcake tin ready for filling.
- 135ml lemon jelly liquid mixture (made up from a normal box of jelly crystals)
- 80ml your fave limincello
- 2x gelatine leaves,covered and soaked in cold water for 5-7 minutes (I used 7cm X 20cm ones)
Steps:
1. Once you have your
lemon jelly liquid mixture done, this should still be thoroughly mixed, and
still warm before you add your gelatine leaves.
2. Pick up your now
soaked gelatine leaves, squeeze out excess water, and add to your lemon jelly
mix.
3. Whisk until gelatine
leaves are fully dissolved. Then add your limincello, quickly whisk this
through.
4. Pour into your
prepared lemon shells, place in the freezer for 30-35minutes until set.
5. Bring out of the freezer,
slice in half with the skin facing up (i.e. flat side down)
Lime jellyshot wedges (non-alcoholic)
- 3x Tahitian limes, halved and flesh all hulled out. Placed skin side down in a cupcake tin ready for filling
- 200ml lime jelly liquid mixture
- Squeeze of lime juice
- 2x gelatine leaves
Steps:
1. Once you have your
lime jelly liquid mixture done, this should still be thoroughly mixed, and
still warm before you add your gelatine leaves.
2. Pick up your now
soaked gelatine leaves, squeeze out excess water, and add to your lime jelly
mix.
3. Whisk until gelatine
leaves are fully dissolved.
4. Pour into your
prepared Lime shells, place in the freezer for 30-35minutes until set.
5. Bring out of the
freezer, slice in half with the skin facing up (i.e. flat side down)
{I sprinkled a bit of raspberry powder on this one to boost the flavour and sourness}
While I know there certainly is no need to whet my appetite before meal time, I thought these would be cute to serve to guests/friends...just to make them salivate or want dinner, that much more ;) If you wanted to make the lime wedge an alcoholic one, just add a couple dashes of tequila...Arrrriba!
Now I'm in dire need to have dinner because after taste testing these jellybabes, my stomach is whirring with hunger!
