Nutella and Banana Crepes

read the post
Last week I felt like eating crepes for lunch, so I made them, and also whipped out the camera.

Nutella Banana Bread

I've shared a link to a recipe for this on Facebook before, but after realising how overly sweet my first attempt was, I decided an Oz/NZ measurement conversion was required... and then.... I forgot to post about it!
And so here we go, three months later, a recipe based on cups used here in Oz and NZ, but this time loosely based on a basic Donna Hay recipe and only makes one loaf!

Hollandaise Breakfast

read the post
Out of all the things on my "must master" cooking list, poaching eggs was the one I'm most afraid of. I had watched many food shows, YouTube clips and what not on how to do it, but never wanted to attempt it after a very failed first attempt a few years ago, resulting in scatters of little scramble-y white bits floating around in a saucepan full of water.

Pancake Stack Heaven

read the post
I totally missed a week of blogging ... smack on the hand for that one! But I'm a total believer in quality, and if I don't have anything quality to blog or talk about with you all then it's not worth posting!
That's until I realised I hadn't posted up this little simple recipe for Pancakes. Yes, pancakes. Simple in all its entirety but total heaven when you want a slightly gourmet breakfast at home.

Blueberry Chia Jam

read the post

I jumped on the Chia seed bandwagon about a year ago, not really knowing what this 'super food' was, but thought I needed to boost up my morning breakfast with something more nutrient-rich. I normally enjoy quinoa porridge with a tablespoon of chia seeds, a bit of almond milk, hot water and in the microwave it goes for 2 minutes. And then eaten with a topping of fresh berries, peaches and roasted almonds or pistachios. This, with a strong soy flat white to accompany, would fill my tum up until lunchtime. No need to snack.
